About the Wine

A flagship wine and perennial favorite, this age-worthy is a stunner year after year and always a beautiful expression of the Sonoma Coast. The Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir is sourced from a handful of exceptional vineyards each year in the revered Sonoma Coast AVA, from which our winemaker Katy Wilson expertly blends select lots and clones. The 2018 vintage was slow and steady, which allowed the fruit to gradually ripen, holding its acid and allowing it to develop complexity on the vine. The majority of fruit was picked between mid-September and mid-October, with generous yet balanced yields.

About the Brand

Anaba's name originates from cool, upward-flowing anabatic winds that soar and swirl through its sustainably-farmed Carneros Estate vineyards. Gifts of nature, these unique air currents make the vineyard more temperate, slow down the ripening process, and allow the grapes to develop more robust flavors and distinctive varietal characteristics. Anaba's first vintage of wines all received awards for excellence at the 2009 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition and with each subsequent vintage, Anaba wines have been lauded.
