  • Wags & Wine offers flat rate UPS Ground shipping between $15 and $25 depending on your location.
  • UPS will make 3 delivery attempts. After that, depending on the zip code, the package will immediately be returned to us. In some cases, UPS will hold packages for 5 business days for receivers to pick up. Post-COVID shipping volume has limited this to fewer zip codes where this is now offered, so this is not guaranteed.
  • If delivery attempts are missed, the purchaser will incur a $25 return/restocking fee, plus the cost to re-ship a second time.
  • If you have missed your package for any reason, and it is returned to us,  the cost of shipping the box back to us (from UPS) and back to the customer a second time falls on the customer.   
  • Please do not ship any items back to us, as we do not process the return of any complete Wags & Wine boxes, nor individual items.
  • No refunds will be given due to missed package deliveries or access point holds, as the shipment tracking is the responsibility of the purchaser and/or recipient and the purchaser is notified of this multiple times.
  • Please TRACK your package and ensure someone is able to accept and sign for the package to avoid additional charges.
  • Shipping charges are never, under any circumstances, refundable.
  • Title to the wine you order passes to you as soon as it leaves the Wags & Wine's doors; it is up to you to know the relevant laws in your state. 



If you are concerned about the weather in your area, you may  contact us to request a specific shipping date or you may choose a faster shipping method. If shipping to a location above 75° or below 30° (outside of CA, ID, NM, NV, or OR), please consider upgrading your shipping speed. Wine heat damage is real and can taint the flavor, or even ruin the wine. Wags & Wine will include 1 cold pack in your box in summer months, but is not responsible for damaged products due to extreme hot or cold temperatures.

You will receive an email containing tracking information once your order is “Complete” and is boxed and ready for shipment. All orders ship around the 10th of each month (it will be a Monday).

You must be 21 years of age or older to purchase wine from All packages sent out by require a signature upon delivery. It is highly recommended that you provide us with a business shipping address for best service, if you will not be home. Customer comments on their order such as “Please leave on back porch” or “Please leave at front door” will be ignored. We will not be able to refund any shipping charges if your package comes back to us because there was no adult to sign for the wine.


Check the map to calculate the estimated number of business days (Monday-Friday) it will take for your package to arrive. Saturday deliveries are available. Please respond to your order if you would like Saturday delivery option (there may be an additional fee, but this may prevent your wine sitting in a hot warehouse over the weekend).

The regulatory environment for shipping alcohol to consumers nationwide is an extremely complex and ever changing landscape. The rules around where we can and can’t ship are changing constantly along with the shipping rates. Due to the restrictions of many state laws, we only ship wine to those states where direct shipment is permitted by law, and the list of states that we ship to may change at any time. The list of states in our drop down menu at checkout IS NOT NECESSARILY REPRESENTATIVE of where we can legally ship. Please submit your order and our processing team will check it for compliance. If there are any issues with your order we will contact you. To find the current shipping rate, simply add a product to your shopping cart, click on checkout, fill in the ship to state on the checkout page and our shipping calculator will show the available services and rates to that state. All packages are shipped using UPS and our shipping prices include packaging materials. You will be notified by email when your wines are shipped. Wags & Wine reserves the right to change the flat rate shipping charges at any time.

All wines are sold in California and title passes to the buyer in California. We make no representation to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import wine into any state outside of California. The buyer is solely responsible for the shipment of wines. By placing an order you authorize us to act on your behalf to engage a third-party shipper to deliver your order where you wish. 

We will arrange for shipment on behalf of the buyer, to an address specified by the buyer, provided that in our sole discretion we believe that such shipment will not subject us to the risk of any sort of legal action or other harm. If a buyer lives in a state where the direct shipment of wine may violate the law, we will contact the buyer to discuss shipping options, which options may include provision of an alternative shipping address in a state where the direct shipment of wines to consumers is permitted or storage of the wines at an acceptable third-party storage facility.

Wines may be sold and delivered only to persons who are at least 21 years old. In placing your order you represent to us that you are at least 21 years old and that the person to whom your wine will be delivered is at least 21 years old. When your wine is delivered the person accepting delivery will be required to show an I.D. proving that he or she is at least 21 years old.



In order for Wags & Wine to continue providing our customers with services such as shipping, we must include certain stipulations & articles of agreement. The following conditions relate to the shipping of goods by Wags & Wine. By requesting shipment of any merchandise the consignee agrees to all of the following conditions:

Title to, and ownership of, all wine passes from Wags & Wine to the purchaser in the State of California and the purchaser takes all responsibility for the shipping of it from California to his/her home state. By arranging for transportation of the wine via common carrier, Wags & Wine is providing a service to, and acting on behalf of the purchaser. You will be billed for this service. California sales tax will be added to your purchase because of this. By utilizing this service from Wags & Wine, the purchaser is representing that he/she is acting in a fashion compliant with his/her local and state laws regarding the purchase, transportation and delivery of wine. The purchaser represents that he/she has obtained any required permission, paid any required fees, is working through properly licensed intermediaries where required, is legally entitled to take possession of wine and is legally entitled to take quantities ordered and once again authorizes that he/she is 21 years of age. 


Wags & Wine is not liable for any damages to goods caused by weather conditions and other “Acts of God” during transportation. Because weather conditions can change drastically at any time, we also assume no liability for damage caused by changes in weather during transportation. “Acts of God” include catastrophes such as, but not limited to: plane crashes, unforeseeable delays or accidents, destruction due to domestic and international unrest (i.e. riots, war, public enemies) confiscation, quarantine or natural disaster. The experienced staff of the shipping department at Wags & Wine takes every precaution to insure safe transit of goods requested by our customers.
